About the Presenter - Helen R. Stein, RN, BSN,
CIHWC, CLE
Helen R. Stein graduated from Macomb Community College’s Registered Nurses
Associate Degree Program in Michigan, followed by a BSN from Wayne State
University. She has continued to further her nursing career by attending
numerous continuing education programs. Her 33 year career has been devoted to
improving the quality of life of her patients and community at large.
Because of her leadership skills and drive for excellence, Helen has held
several high level nursing administrative positions. She implemented various
programs that resulted in enhancement of the quality of patient care in the
departments she ran. She developed educational handbooks and brochures for
various hospital marketing departments. Her experiences include risk management,
quality assurance, consulting and patient, staff and community education. She
has served on numerous healthcare and community committees and is a member of
Sigma Theta Tau.
Helen is the founder and CEO of Your Wellness Source where she provides people
information on improving their health and achieving balance in their lives.
Helen currently holds the position of FLT Wellness Services, for the
Comprehensive Center of Women's
Medicine. She brings to that position her passion for empowering patients to
incorporate healthy lifestyle choices into their lives. She loves teaching
people how to incorporate integrative and aesthetic medicine to meet their
health and aesthetic goals, allowing their natural beauty to manifest through
their enhanced image.
Over the years, Helen has volunteered in various capacities that provide service
to others. She has taught her children that there is no greater reward than to
help others. She loves music and dance, athletic activities, but most
importantly enjoys spending quality time with her family.

Area Doctor Joins Medical Mission in Honduras
October 19, 2011
Dr. Dan Kirk of Concept Care Chiropractic and Wellness Center in Downers Grove, joined a group of Doctors and other medical professionals for a medical mission trip to Honduras.
The medical team will be performing physical exams on community members of Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Dr. Kirk is thrilled to be able to offer his chiropractic service to those in need.
A construction crew will also be joining the medical team to fix up housing in the area.
Concept Care Chiropractic Wellness provides chiropractic treatments for the following areas: Downers Grove, Westmont, Lombard, Lisle, Chicago, Naperville, Bolingbrook, Oak Brook, Willowbrook,
Clarendon Hills, Darien, Woodridge, Hinsdale, Burr Ridge, as well as several other communities.
